Well let me tell you what's going on with the hive, for the first time I got honey. Me and Ron went out to the hive and we found honey in some of the frames. We only took one so the bees had some for winter. With the frame we took, we got two jars of honey! You can have some if you want. Well that is everything.
First, we nailed and put the boxes together. After we nailed the boxes together, we painted the box white. Then a few days later Ron and I put my bees in the box. We picked a sunny spot on the hill at his house for their new home. After that Ron had a surprise for me! He had found a swarm on a branch. He had me shake the branch so the bees would fall into a box he had ready. There are three things that I learned on this adventure. One is that I know how to build a bee box now, two is that I found out I enjoy painting, and three is that I now know how to hammer a nail straight. Thank you Ron and Mike for everything!
